Belated birthday celebration for my brother-in-law while he’s in town, so I had to bring one of his favorites. Didn’t sprinkle paprika on top because I couldn’t remember if he liked that or not, but it’s definitely an option. Easy and tasty recipe below!
Deviled Eggs:
12 large eggs
6 tbsp mayo
2 tsp dijon mustard
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper, to taste
Paprika, to garnish
Add eggs to a pot, cover by 1” with cold water and bring water to a boil. Turn heat off and immediately cover pot with a lid. Let eggs sit in boiled water for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and add ice to the water, letting eggs sit for a minute or two. Pat dry eggs and peel them.
Slice the eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolk to a small bowl and place the egg whites on a plate. Mash the yolks with a fork and add the mayo, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper; mash until smooth. Use a spoon to add a portion of the deviled egg mixture back into the hole of each egg white. Sprinkle paprika for garnish if desired.
