Peacefully at A.R.I on Monday, August 24, 2026, Malcolm aged 59 years.
Beloved husband of Yvonne, proud father of Adam and Fraser, son of Ronnie and the late Marlene, brother of Michael and a good friend to many.
Funeral service at Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead ( East Chapel) on Tuesday, September 8, at 3.30pm.
All friends respectfully invited.

Did you know that on the 27th August 1881 the first sod of turf was turned in the construction of the Duthie Park.

The silver spade and oak wheelbarrow remain on display inside the gardens today

Princess Beatrice opened the Duthie Park on September 27, 1883, she replaced her mother Queen Victoria, who couldn't attend due to an injury. The day was declared a public holiday.

Miss Elizabeth Crombie Duthie, inherited considerable wealth from her uncle Walter Duthie and her brother Alexander Duthie. She gifted the 42 acre park and specified the land must be used for the wellbeing and recreation of Aberdeen inhabitants.

Spike and McPuddock are the resident talking cactus and giant frog, generations of children have visited the Park to see them.
