With a beautiful hint of blue in the sky this morning, the two Gordons, two Sheilas, and Leah/ Leigh’a headed out to enjoy the fresh, crisp sea air at Fraserburgh. It turned out to be an absolutely unforgettable day.

We owe a massive thank you to the amazing volunteers at the Fraserburgh Community Council Thanks to their incredible dedication, we were provided with accessible bikes that gave everyone in our group an enormous sense of freedom and independence. Being able to ride along together, feel the sea breeze, and share so many smiles made it a truly fantastic day out. We can't thank the council enough for making these wonderful memories possible! 🚲

Our arts and crafts morning making faux stained glass windows was so relaxing! This therapeutic activity was the perfect way to spend the morning, helping everyone unwind while tapping into their creative sides.

As we carefully pieced together our colorful designs, the room filled with the best kind of energy—lively conversations, shared stories, and plenty of laughter. Of course, no morning craft session is complete without delicious treats! We paired our creative flow with a selection of tasty food and warm drinks, making the whole experience feel like a cozy, community gathering.

Today, "armchair travel" took on a beautiful new meaning for our residents! ✈️🗺️

We took a special culture trolley on a journey down memory lane, complete with a map of Spain, vibrant Spanish music, and a delicious spread of traditional cold meats and cheeses. Food and maps have a wonderful way of unlocking old memories, and it wasn’t long before the rooms were filled with storytelling.

From recalling sun-drenched holidays and vibrant city streets to sharing stories of the years some of our residents actually lived in Spain, it was a truly magical afternoon of shared history and connection. 🇪🇸✨It is moments like these that remind us how travel stays with us forever, no matter where we are.
