🚨 Vacancy – First Aid Instructor

Aberdeen First Aid School is expanding its training team and has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our group of highly skilled instructors.

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills who can deliver high-quality, face-to-face first aid training — someone who is passionate about ensuring delegates leave their course feeling confident to respond in a first aid emergency.

The ideal candidate may have previous experience as a nurse, offshore medic, or member of the emergency services. Instructor training will be provided. Previous experience as a trainer or first aider would also be advantageous.

It is a really exciting time to be here at the Spaceport today.

We have delivered our courses all over the world over the years, but delivering them at a Spaceport is definitely a new experience for us. We are proud to be working with SaxaVord to ensure their staff are fully trained in first aid and equipped to handle any medical emergencies on their site.

Mental Health Awareness Week, 15-21 May 2023

The theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is anxiety. With 60% of UK employees experiencing symptoms of anxiety, workplace mental health provision is vital.

The HSE states that employers now need to consider making provision for mental health first aid alongside their physical first aid training.
