Recently we had local bowling legend David Cox in the clinic, and he shared his story about how META AI specs are a life changing aid for him πΆβΊοΈ
David has a pair of Meta Ray-Bans. The black-rimmed specs look a lot like any other designer specs, pick them up and they are noticeably heavier.
Thatβs because inside is a tiny 12-megapixel camera that allows wearers to take photographs and film video from their point of view.
David has been discovering just how much they can do...
He does not generally need them around the house, but says he now wears them whenever he is out in the garden or away from home.
With a spoken command, the camera can look at whatever is in front of him and the AI describes what it sees through speakers built into the frames.
_____
David doesn't let his visual imparment get in the way of bringing home the trophies. He has continues to thrive, and has adapted to a new way of bowling!
David Cox, encourages the visually impared to nip on down to Aberdeen Indoor bowling Club, and give it a go! βΊ
