☀️ 30 Days Until Summer Starts ☀️

And we’re kicking things off with a reminder that movement doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference.

A workout counts.
A swim counts.
A walk counts.
A stretch between meetings counts.
And yes… dancing around with your team absolutely counts too 💃

For the next 30 days, we’ll be sharing simple health, fitness and wellness tips to help you feel good heading into summer - with ideas from across the Granite Leisure family covering movement, recovery, mindset, spa, sleep, nutrition and everyday wellbeing.

No pressure.
No “summer body” messaging.
Just 30 days of feeling stronger, healthier and more energised.

Follow along, save the tips you love, and join us for the countdown to summer ☀️

We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and operational standards across our growing Midlands portfolio of health clubs, gyms, pools and spa facilities.

This is not a desk job. We need someone proactive, organised and practical - someone who takes pride in high standards and can keep multiple sites running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll be responsible for:
✔️ Planned & reactive maintenance
✔️ Pool plant & leisure facility oversight
✔️ Health & safety compliance
✔️ Contractor management
✔️ Supporting club teams across multiple sites
✔️ Helping us maintain the premium member experience Granite is known for

We’re growing quickly across the Midlands, so this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to be part of building something ambitious and long-term.

The owners of Granite Leisure have gone away for the weekend and left me in charge… so until they return I’ve removed all joining fees. Might not have a job on Monday - but it was fun whilst it lasted 😘

🚨 NEW DROP 🚨

After years of running health clubs… they’ve finally turned their attention to what really matters.

Introducing GRANITE.
The debut album nobody asked for… but everyone needed.

🎧 Featuring hit singles:
• “Membership of My Heart”
• “12 Months for the Price of 10 (But It’s Love)”
• “Don’t Skip Leg Day (Don’t Skip Me)”

Streaming nowhere. Performing exclusively poolside. We apologise in advance.

I realised last week it had been far too long since I last posted on LinkedIn, so I carved out a bit of time to record an update on what we’ve been up to and some genuinely exciting news.

Fast forward a few days, and we’ve since agreed to move ahead on two more new sites.

Which means this video is already out of date, and I definitely don’t have time to film another one. 😂🤦‍♂️

So, consider this an anti–call to action.
Our CFO has lost the ability to say no.
Our CMO no longer sleeps.

And I had been hoping to get married this year, which I’m told requires more than 48 hours of annual leave. 🙊

So… please do not send us any new opportunities until at least summer. Hugs & kisses all round 😂🕺
