Our pharmacist Michael has just completed the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection training programme, increasing his knowledge of the early signs and symptoms of skin cancer and the best ways to reduce the risk of skin cancer by adopting simple sun protection measures.

The vast majority of skin cancers are preventable, early detection and referral to specialists can dramatically improve prognosis.

NEW SERVICE ALERT

Worried about a mole or skin lesion? Get it checked here and receive your report from a UK consultant dermatologist within 48 hours (excluding bank holidays and weekends).

High quality clinical images are captured by trained staff using a dermatoscope and securely submitted via the Map My Mole app to be reviewed by a consultant dermatologist. A written report will then be sent to you detailing the findings and any clinical recommendations.

This service provides faster access to specialist opinion with no need to wait for a GP appointment. The cost is £50 for a single mole/lesion. Additional moles/lesions can be reviewed at the same appointment (additional fee applies).

This service cannot provide a diagnosis of skin cancer and does not replace NHS services. If any concern is identified, your report will advise accordingly.
