Did you know the average menstruating woman uses around 11,000 period products in her lifetime? Most end up in landfill or, when flushed, can make their way into our waterways.

CFINE has distributed over 2,000 reusable period products in the last year.

That could help prevent around 2.2 million single-use products from ending up in landfill or our seas. 🌊💚

Reusable options such as washable period pants/towels and menstrual cups are available at Dickies pharmacy, alongside support and advice on using them safely.

🚨 How to recognise a ketamine overdose or medical emergency

Call 999 immediately if someone has:

• Difficulty waking or cannot be woken
• Slow, irregular or stopped breathing
• Blue, grey or very pale lips or skin
• Choking, gurgling or unusual breathing sounds
• Lost consciousness

🚨 Do not leave them alone. Stay with them and follow the instructions given by the emergency services.

⚠️ Use ketamine? Here are ways to reduce the risks ⚠️

Illegal drugs sold on the street can contain unexpected substances or vary in strength. Do you really know what you’re taking?

❓ Is it actually ketamine, or could it contain something else?
You cannot reliably know the contents or strength of an illicit drug.

❌ AVOID MIXING ketamine with other drugs, particularly alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids or other depressants.

👥 DON’T USE ALONE. If you choose to use ketamine, have someone you trust around who can get help if something goes wrong.

🚨 If someone becomes unconscious, cannot be woken, has a seizure or is having difficulty breathing, call 999 immediately.

⚠️ Use ketamine? Know the risks involved! ⚠️

Ketamine is a powerful drug that can cause serious harm, even when it isn’t used regularly.

Ketamine can:
• Affect your balance and awareness
• Cause confusion or disorientation
• Make you very still or unresponsive
• Lead to unconsciousness

Frequent or prolonged use can lead to:
• Serious bladder and urinary tract damage
• Severe abdominal pain
• Memory and concentration problems
• Changes in mood and worsening mental health

⚠️ If something doesn’t feel right, speak to your GP or another healthcare professional.

Getting help early and stopping ketamine use can prevent further damage, and some symptoms may improve with treatment.
