Welcoming to the world our beautiful baby boy Jacob 💙

After keeping us all waiting until 42 weeks, he was born August 9th, at 3.34pm, weighing 9lb 7! 🥰

Mummy and baby are doing very well, and going home today.

Fun story - our second stage of delivery shocked everyone at just 3 minutes flat!! 😱🤣 Quicker than it takes Burger King to make a double whopper!

AI therapists are replacing real ones. Quietly. Permanently.

They’re cheaper and always available.

Is it progress or are we just more alone than ever?

Would you trust an AI with your trauma?

Do you think you’d feel seen, heard and understood? Truly witnessed?

I’d love to feel hopeful that I will still have a job and be valuable for clients and their needs.

Able to help them connect the dots, holistically, leaving them able to finally understand what’s happening for them, mind and body…

But like everything else, will the convenience take over and make our industry obsolete?

Protecting the title ‘therapist’ in the UK debate. Yesssss! This needs to happen.

Too often, clients tell me horror stories of how they felt taken advantage of when feeling vulnerable.

During C’id times, the whole industry had to move online to survive and more and more online “therapy” courses flooded the market.

But being unregulated, so many call themselves what they like, even after a 2 day course!

Whilst many amazing therapies have their own associations, the ONLY official UK Body that protects the public is the CNHC.

You can only register here for the therapies they deem as legit and proven to help, accepted by the NHS and recommended as a complementary therapy alongside your healthcare.

You can only register here after the highest level of training has been achieved, and you can only get registered here through a UK recognised complementary therapy association.

Out of this fab list of therapies, I chose Reflexology, Body Massage and Hypnotherapy. My 3 faves 🥰💚

Make sure you ask for qualifications and check where and who they’re registered with. 🙏

Update: Nothing like a lovely wee time away to our fav beach, to get me in the mood for giving birth 🥰 Natural, barefoot sandy slopes to get things moving and dare I say dilating 🤞 🙏😎 The kids had a fabby time together. Lots of burying each other in holes & splashing around. Even miss Penny…who seems to be head first for the sea now she’s walking 😅

2 weeks to go…apparently! Wish me luck!

4 weeks until DD! 😱🥰 I can’t believe how fast our fourth and final pregnancy has flown by! Soon to have four munchkins running around! My favourite number being 4th April born!

When you’re feeling stressed, in the moment, it’s so easy to forget all the small tips. You’d think your body would remember to breathe, but when you’re triggered, stressed, or feeling overwhelmed, we unconsciously stop breathing for long periods of time without even noticing.

This breathing exercise is truly one of the best things you could do in the moment to help you come back to yourself, grounded and balanced.

Try it and feel the anxiety melt away.
