Skin tags are small, soft, harmless growths that hang off the skin on a thin stalk, commonly found in friction areas like the neck and armpits.
Diathermy safely treats them by using a fine probe to deliver localized heat via an electrical current, instantly cauterizing and sealing the blood supply so the tag detaches.

Seborrheic keratosis is a common, non-cancerous skin growth that often appears as people age.

These growths typically manifest as brown, black, or pale spots that can vary in size and often have a waxy, scaly, or slightly elevated appearance.

While they may look alarming, they are generally harmless and don't require treatment unless they become irritated, itchy, or for cosmetic reasons.

The exact cause of seborrheic keratosis is not fully understood, but genetics and sun exposure are thought to play a role in their development.

They are most commonly found on the face, chest, shoulders, and back and are sometimes referred to as "barnacles of aging." If there is any doubt about a skin growth, it is always advisable to consult a healthcare professional to rule out other conditions, such as skin cancer.

Seborrheic keratosis are a very common, non-cancerous skin growth that looks like a waxy or rough bump with a "stuck-on" appearance.

They usually appear in middle age or later, ranging in color from light tan to black.
They are harmless, not contagious, and do not turn into skin cancer

We use Diathermy to treat.

Treating a seborrheic keratosis (Seb K) with diathermy involves using a high-frequency electrical current delivered via a fine probe or needle to heat, dry out, and safely destroy the benign skin growth layer by layer while cauterizing blood vessels.

A numbing cream can be used if needed. (applied prior to treatment by you)
A fine wire or probe touches the lesion.
Radiofrequency or shortwave energy cuts and seals the tissue instantly.
