Poem of the week.

Too Hot To SLEEP!
The sun’s turned up the heat, what a pain,
I’m melting like ice cream in the pouring rain!
My fan’s just a joke, barely a breeze,
Feels like I’m stuck in a giant cheese!

Sweat’s sliding down, right off my face,
Even my shadow’s trying to race!
My drinks are warm, no ice to be found,
I’m wishing for winter, or at least some cold ground.

My clothes are sticky, hair’s a mess,
I’m dreaming of showers to fix this stress.
The pavement’s so hot it’s burning my shoes,
I’d trade all my snacks for some icy juice!

If this heat’s a joke, it’s way too hot—
I’m dreaming of snow, but it’s not in the plot!
So here I am, stuck in this spot,
Just hoping for rain or a giant cool pot!

Poem of the week - S for C
An amazing friend, so true and kind,
A shining light when I was blind.
With open heart and helping hand,
They lifted me to where I stand.

Through storms and trials, they stayed near,
Wiping away each falling tear.
Their strength became my guiding star,
Showing me how brave we are.

In darkest nights, they brought the dawn,
A steady presence when hope was gone.
They listened close, they understood,
Turning pain to something good.

With laughter shared and stories told,
They warmed my heart when days were cold.
A bond unbroken, strong and deep,
A treasure that I’ll always keep.

For every time they helped me through,
I’m grateful more than words can do.
An amazing friend, forever true—
The greatest gift I ever knew.

A poem for todays BRAVE THE SHAVE.

They took the brave step, shaved it all off,
Dropped the fear, didn’t scoff.
Every strand that hit the floor,
Showed they’re strong, ready for more.

They looked in the mirror, saw no shame,
Just someone proud, owning their name.
Friends all cheered, “You’re so brave!”
Breaking rules, no need to cave.

That smooth head shining bright,
Saying loud, “I’m alright.”
Not just hair, it’s guts and pride,
A fearless heart that won’t hide.

So here’s to them, standing tall,
Showing courage beats it all.
Proud and strong, they lead the way,
Inspiring others every day.
