This week I visited Frameless in London… and I absolutely loved it. Immersive art, colour, movement and light wrapped around me in a way that felt both uplifting and deeply soothing.
I’ve always believed in the therapy of colour and light for the soul — and today reminded me why.
Colour therapy has long been used to support emotional balance, reduce stress and stimulate creativity. Research in chromotherapy shows that different colours can influence our mood and energy:
• Blue calms the nervous system
• Yellow lifts the spirit
• Green supports balance and renewal
• Red energises and activates
And light therapy is widely recognised for improving wellbeing, supporting circadian rhythm, and enhancing emotional clarity. Even brief exposure to bright, dynamic light can increase serotonin and help the body feel more awake and aligned.
Today felt like a reminder that healing doesn’t always come from stillness — sometimes it comes from stepping into colour, movement, and beauty.
As Kandinsky said: “Colour is a power which directly influences the soul.”
We’ve all felt it, that subtle shift when we step into sunlight: the warmth on our skin, the soft rise in mood, the way our whole body seems to breathe a little deeper. We’ve felt that quiet magic of standing in moonlight — that silvery stillness that softens the mind and settles the nervous system. And we’ve all witnessed the energy lift that comes with a golden sunrise, when the world glows and something inside us glows with it.
So, for me standing inside those vast moving artworks, I felt that power — gentle, joyful, and transformative.
Highly recommend Frameless if you’re in London. A beautiful experience for the senses and the spirit. 🌈✨
