Our next therapist shout out is for Carole. Carole is one of the most kind-hearted genuine people I've met. For anyone who has had the privilege of meeting her, will also agree!!

introducing CW Therapies 🌿

— I am a psychotherapist, and Independent Mental Health Advocate with over 30 years experience working in Mental Health and navigating the Health and Social Care System
I work with adults and young people on all sorts of things: anxiety, low mood, life transitions, neurodiversity, and support around life limiting conditions and end of life.

There is a group close to my heart that I especially want to reach — carers.

I’ve been a carer myself, so I know how easily your own wellbeing slips down the list when you’re looking after someone else. This is a space just for you, with no assumption you have hours spare or energy left at the end of the day.

I offer a free initial consultation, sessions online or in person, and a number of reduced-fee and free places for those who need them.
If any of this speaks to you, I’d love to hear from you

"Hello, my name is Claire McDonough.
I am a senior psychotherapist and director at CPS Therapy I offer both face to face and online therapy via video link.

I can support you to work through your problems in a safe and confidential space. Whatever your issues are, I can help you find solutions and work towards feeling happier, more confident and back on track.

I have worked in wellbeing and mental health for the whole of my career (35 yrs plus) in a range of different settings, from individual therapy right through to the hospital setting. I am also a clinical supervisor for other therapists. I hope this gives you an idea of the depth of my experience.

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. This means I can use a variety of different methods to help you feel better. It enables me to use therapeutic techniques that fit around you and your preferences. I am also a clinical hypnotherapist, a life coach. I specialise in psychosexual therapy and relationship counselling. In addition , I am a meditation trainer. So, you have the opportunity to access these services should you feel they would be useful to you.

Some new clients worry whether the problem is "bad enough" to come to counselling. Some worry that they are so ill that counselling won't help. Neither is true. If your problem is causing you difficulties, counselling is a good choice and it's my role to help you through
There is no such thing as a problem that is too small for therapy. If you need help, that’s enough"

Today's shout out is for Nicki. Nicki is a trauma informed integrative therapist who has a lot of experience in several areas and is a valued member of our team ✨

My name is Nicki Fishlock, and I am an Integrative Counsellor at Time to Talk Counselling & Psychotherapy based at Accrington Therapy Centre. I offer both face-to-face and online therapy.

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work ethically within their framework and professional guidelines.

I understand that taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting and overwhelming. To support this, I offer a low-cost 30-minute introductory session, giving you the opportunity to meet me, ask any questions, and gain an understanding of how counselling works.

I have worked in mental health and wellbeing for over 20 years, with clinical experience across a range of settings including individual therapy, the NHS, education, justice, charitable and voluntary sectors.

As a trauma-informed integrative therapist, I draw on a variety of therapeutic models and techniques to meet each individual’s unique needs. My approach is collaborative and client-centred, placing you at the heart of the therapeutic process. Integrative psychotherapy recognises the complexity of human experience and incorporates approaches such as person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy.
I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

I work with a wide range of issues, including:

• Anxiety and depression
• Trauma and abuse
• Addiction
• Grief and loss
• Low confidence and self-esteem
• Neurodiversity
• Employment-related difficulties
• Anger management
• Attachment difficulties
• Behavioural challenges
• Phobias
• Self-harm
• Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
• And many other concerns

Whatever you are facing, you do not have to face it alone, no concern is too big or small - please feel free to reach out.

Warm regards,

Nicki Fishlock
Counsellor BA (Hons), MBACP
