Margaret passed away peacefully in a private care home, on 13th June 2026, aged 80 years of Great Harwood. The dearly loved wife of the late Alan, much loved and loving mum of Michael and the late Shaun, also loving grandma of Emlyn.

Hyndburn Bereavement Support Group offers a safe and welcoming space to acknowledge your grief journey, in your own way and at your own pace.

Evening Session
7.00pm – 9.00pm

Everyone is welcome, and the sessions are free of charge. There is no pressure to speak, you can share, listen, or simply sit with others who understand.

Yesterday, we held an open day at Champ Funeral Services, and we are pleased to say that it was a very successful event.

We were overwhelmed by the number of people who attended to speak with us about their funeral wishes, ask questions, and learn more about the services we provide. It was encouraging to see so many members of the community taking the time to have open and honest conversations about funeral planning.

In this day and age, with so much media attention surrounding the funeral profession, we believe it is more important than ever to be open and transparent. Our aim was to welcome people and help them understand our way of working, and show the care, professionalism, and respect that goes into everything we do.

The day provided a valuable opportunity for people to meet our team, see our facilities, and gain a clearer understanding of the support available when planning a funeral. We hope that those who attended found the event helpful, reassuring, and informative.

On behalf of all the team at Champ Funeral Services, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to come in and support our open day. We truly appreciate your interest, your questions, and the trust you placed in us by speaking so openly about your funeral wishes.

We would also like to reassure our community that we are here for you at any time. Whether you are thinking ahead, have questions about funeral planning, or need support during a difficult time, our team is always available to offer guidance, care, and understanding.

Due to the success of the open day, we are pleased to announce that we will be opening our doors to the public again in the future.
