Last week felt like one of the hottest on record so what better way to cool down than with ice creams! Mr Sher's Ice Cream & Desserts visited our Summer BBQ on Friday, finishing off an afternoon of burgers, sausages and chips with a well deserved - and much needed - dessert! A very Happy Nurses Week to all of our wonderful nurses 💐

This week we celebrated with flowers, cake and cards to say thank you for everything they do. We are so grateful for the care, kindness and dedication they show every single day in keeping our residents safe, happy and healthy ❤️

Residents spent the day baking cookies and cakes together as part of the day’s activities.

Baking can have such a wonderful impact on mood, and everyone really enjoyed getting involved. From pouring ingredients and flattening the cookies to adding sprinkles and chocolate chips, there were smiles all around — and of course everyone enjoyed tasting the finished treats!🍰💛

The look of love🥰 Wednesdays at Rodwell House mean a visit from the wonderful animals at Browells Wood Pet Therapy. This week we were joined by three piglets, a chicken, a rabbit and a guinea pig – and the piglets quickly became the centre of attention with our residents! 🐽😆
