Three months v**e free. 💚

When I decided to quit va**ng after 12 years, it felt like a huge challenge. In fact it’s been my hardest habit to break.
But what I’ve learned over the last few months is that real change doesn’t usually happen through one massive decision..it happens through small, consistent actions.

Alongside quitting va**ng, I set myself two other simple challenges:

🏊‍♀️ Swimming after work instead of plonking myself in front of the telly.

🚶‍♀️ Taking evening walks to get some fresh air and clear my mind.

None of these changes seemed life changing on their own, but together they’ve had a huge impact on my physical and mental wellbeing.

It’s reminded me that little changes really do go a long way.

So now I’d love to know…

Nourishment for dry, sensitive skin: naturally

⭐️What is beef tallow balm?

⭐️Beef tallow is rich in skin loving fats and nutrients that closely resemble our skin’s natural oils:
making it deeply nourishing and beautifully moisturising.

I wanted a balm that was:

✔ Gentle on sensitive skin
✔ Made with simple ingredients
✔ Free from unnecessary chemicals

Nourishing Frankincense Facial Balm 🌿

Ingredients
🌱1 tbsp Beeswax (structure & skin protection)
🌱1 tbsp Shea Butter (deep nourishment & repair)
🌱1 tbsp Mango Butter (light moisture, softening)

Liquid Oils
🌱1 tbsp Jojoba Oil (balances skin, mimics natural sebum)
🌱1 tbsp Sweet Almond Oil (softening & soothing)
🌱1 tbsp Rosehip Oil (skin regeneration, brightening)

Optional Support Oils (small amounts)
🌱½ tsp Sesame Oil (antioxidant, warming)
🌱½ tsp Mustard Seed Oil (stimulates circulation — use lightly for face)
🌱½ tsp Coconut Oil (softening, protective)

Active Ingredients
🌱1 tsp Vitamin E Oil (antioxidant & natural preservative)
🌱6–8 drops Frankincense Essential Oil (firming, calming, anti-aging)

Method
🌱Create a double boiler (bowl over simmering water).
🪹Melt:
• beeswax
• shea butter
• mango butter
• coconut oil
3. Once melted, remove from heat.
4. Stir in the liquid oils:
• jojoba
• sweet almond
• rosehip
• sesame
• mustard seed
5. Let cool slightly (but not solidify).
6. Add:
• vitamin E
• frankincense essential oil
7. Pour into a sterilised glass jar or tin.
8. Leave to set for about 1–2 hours.
