We’ve been on set filming our brand-new TV ad for Adapt & Drive!

For our first shoot day, we headed to set with a brand-new Vauxhall Frontera to tell the story of an independent driver getting ready for a first date.

Adapt & Drive is about making more possible, with an adapted car that supports your independence and the freedom to enjoy the moments that matter.

🎉 700 boot hoist kits later...

Back in 2005, Autochair released its very first dedicated boot hoist kit, designed for a BMW 5 Series.

Since then, a lot has changed...

📱 iPhones didn't exist.
🍫 A Freddo cost 10p.
📀 Netflix still posted DVDs.

But one thing hasn't changed: our mission to help more people travel with confidence and independence.

Today, we're celebrating our 700th dedicated boot hoist kit. What started as a move from universal fitting kits to vehicle-specific designs has helped create cleaner installations, maximise boot space and make fitting even more efficient.

Most importantly, it's helped thousands of people get back on the road with greater freedom.

What an amazing day at the LimbBo Foundation UK Adventure Day! 💙

It was our first time attending, and we loved every minute of it.

From chatting with so many incredible families to sharing how vehicle adaptations can support greater independence for people with limb difference, it was a privilege to be part of such a welcoming and fun event.

A fantastic day at HQ!
Today, we were delighted to welcome Mike and Tom from Dwarf Sports Association UK , one of our incredible charity partners.

From showcasing one of our demo cars and giving them a behind-the-scenes tour of HQ, to hosting a Lunch & Learn with our Sales and Customer Service teams, it was a brilliant opportunity to learn more about dwarfism, the fantastic work Dwarf Sports Association does, and how we can continue working together to support more people.

Of course, we also made the most of the day by capturing plenty of content together... so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

A huge thank you to Mike and Tom for spending the day with us. We’re proud to partner with Dwarf Sports Association and look forward to continuing our work together to help more people travel with confidence and independence.

Throwback to when our brand ambassador Nicole joined us at head office!

We spent the day showing her around and getting hands-on with our range of adaptations, including the popular boot hoist.
