Yesterday as part of mens health week Ben Eveson had the privilege of visiting Notts County Football Club on behalf of Bottled Up Blokes to deliver a talk around mental health, the work we do, and why conversations matter.

A brilliant experience speaking with staff from both the club and the Notts County Foundation, answering important questions, and having some genuinely meaningful conversations throughout the session.

Mental health affects everyone, and creating spaces where people feel comfortable to open up, listen, and support one another is so important. Seeing organisations like Notts County continuing to engage with these conversations shows the positive difference football clubs can make both on and off the pitch.

A huge thank you to everyone at Notts County for the invitation, the warm welcome, the wonderful breakfast cob and for taking the time to engage so openly with such an important topic.

We don’t provide anything on a Friday so let’s promote our next football match!

Sunday 28th June we’re playing Blackthorn United Football Club at Eastwood Town Football Club to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. It’s a charity that means a lot to quite a lot of our lads and touches many people.

Kick off is at 2pm so it would be ace if people could come down and support us. Bar will be open and you can get some snap whilst you’re there too.

If anyone has any raffle prizes they could kindly donate we’d massively appreciate that too.

Absolutely delighted to announce BUB FEST!

Saturday 18th July 2026 from Midday til 6pm at The Boat Inn.

We have Blaine Molloy Music, Linsey Hardy and Benji D playing 2 sets each.

Paul Grundle magician will be doing close up magic for a few hours.

We’ll have carnival games, inflatables, face painting and a BBQ.

It’s a free event for all the family as a thank you from everyone at Bottled Up Blokes for all the support you’ve given us over the past few years 💙
