Some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon out at Alloa Tower, taking part in an engaging trail session led by Gillian 💛

The session offered a great opportunity to explore the historic surroundings in an interactive and accessible way, sparking conversation and shared experiences along the way 😊

Outings like these are a fantastic way to combine learning, enjoyment and time together, all in a beautiful setting.

We had a lovely time celebrating International Cheese Day here at Parklands, enjoying a selection of delicious cheeses together

We’ve been enjoying a fun and light‑hearted “Bring Your Own Biscuit” session here at Parklands Care Home 💛

Residents brought along their favourite biscuits to share, sparking lovely conversations, laughter and even a few friendly debates about the best choice 😊✨

Paired with a cup of tea, it was the perfect way to relax, connect and enjoy some simple pleasures together 🌟

A sweet and sociable activity that everyone thoroughly enjoyed 🍪💛

⚽🍻 Gentleman’s Table at Parklands Care Home! 🍻⚽

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic start to our new Gentleman’s Table – Men’s Group, and it was a great success ✨

With pie, a pint and football, there was something for everyone to enjoy, creating a relaxed and sociable atmosphere filled with conversation and shared moments 🥧🍺⚽

It was our first week trying this out and it went really well - we’re already looking forward to the next session!

Our residents enjoyed a peaceful Sunday virtual church service, held across the lounges for all who wished to take part 💛

It provided a lovely opportunity for reflection, connection and shared moments in a calm and welcoming setting ✨

Here’s a lovely clip from the sing‑along that wrapped up our DanceSing session, bringing together music, movement and plenty of feel‑good moments ✨

Frank, Mary and May thoroughly enjoyed joining in, ending the session on a real high with familiar tunes and shared enjoyment 🥰🎵

🧠✨ Sensory One‑to‑One Sessions at Parklands Care Home ✨🧠

Our residents enjoyed meaningful one‑to‑one sensory table sessions, each tailored to personal interests and memories 💛

Avis requested a virtual visit to Doune Ponds and Kippen, taking a trip back to her old home and enjoying familiar sights 🏡✨

Gladys chose to visit Gargunnock Burn, sharing wonderful memories of how it once ran through her grandparents’ farm 🚜

Resident Irene joined in too, listening with interest and enjoying the lovely stories being shared 💬😊

Meanwhile, Mary opted for a game of Bingo, staying focused while having plenty of fun 🔢🎉

These personalised sessions are a lovely way to encourage conversation, connection and enjoyment - truly moments that matter 💛

It was lovely to see May supporting Louisa with some housekeeping duties, working together as a team and sharing a sense of purpose ✨

Everyday moments like these encourage independence, cooperation and routine - and it’s always great to see tasks completed together with smiles along the way😊
