Our Alnwick coffee morning at The White Swan Hotel was a huge success on Friday as we raised £726 for Parkinson's UK. Gary, Wendy and Joanne were delighted to meet you all and serve you tea, coffee and cake.

Thank you to all who attended for your generosity in support of a great cause, and to our volunteers who helped organise the raffle and tombola and who provided the delicious bakes for all to enjoy!

Peacefully at home, with his family around him, on Tuesday 11th August, aged 78 years.

Beloved husband of Dorothy, much loved dad of Joanne, Deborah and the late Philip, loving grandpa of Joseph, Lucy, Frankie, Freya, Zackery and Hannah, and a dear brother of John.

Greatly loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends.

A private, family cremation will be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in St. Mary's Church, Morpeth, on Tuesday 25th August at 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, will go to St Oswald's Hospice, Gosforth and St. Mary's Church, Morpeth.
