Kusala Nutrition and Lifestyle

Kusala Nutrition and Lifestyle Hi, I’m Tara! My own personal journey with nutrition began with a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome some 10 years ago now.

I learnt first-hand the impact of my diet and lifestyle choices on my health and energy levels and since that time I have embarked upon a path to redirect my career into the field of Nutrition and Lifestyle practice in order to help others. I have a Level 4 Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching and I am currently completing a Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Integrative Functional Nutrition. Prio

r to that I have a BSc (Hons) in Biological Chemistry along with an MSc in Cancer Chemistry, and I spent my time working in the field of analytical chemistry. Presently I am working across Norfolk delivering group sessions for the National Diabetes Prevention Programme as well as coaching clients privately on a 1-to-1 basis in the areas of nutrition and lifestyle. My goal is to help you achieve your optimum level of health through positive nutrition and lifestyle choices. I will encourage and inspire you to make small but valuable changes to your daily routine, empowering you to take responsibility for your own health and wellbeing. By working together we can, and will, accomplish the outcome you desire, leaving you feeling energised and revitalised for many years to come. So, if you’re ready to make some wholesome changes, just drop me an email ([email protected]), and let’s get started! I look forward to hearing from you,

Supplements can make a meaningful difference—but they work best when they are part of a clear, personalised strategy. The right supplement may help correct an insufficiency, support mitochondrial energy production, improve nutrient status or provide targeted support for a particular symptom or biochemical pathway.

But supplements are most effective when they sit alongside the foundations:
Adequate nourishment, pacing, restorative sleep, stress support, appropriate movement, medical care and a realistic plan that respects your current energy capacity.

Rather than randomly trying product after product, the goal is to understand:
What are we trying to support?
Why is this intervention appropriate for you?
What dose and form are most suitable?
How will we assess whether it is helping?

Personalisation turns supplementation from guesswork into a purposeful part of your wider health plan. To learn more about which supplements might support your recovery, head over to the link in my bio to book your free 30minute discovery call. 🌟Tx

Knowing what may support your health and being able to do it consistently in real life are two very different things.

Healthy habits have to fit around your energy, work, family, responsibilities and current capacity. The best routine isn’t necessarily the most impressive one—it’s the one you can realistically maintain.

Which habit is your biggest challenge: A, B, C, D, E or F? 🌟Tx

Being told that your routine test results are normal doesn’t mean that nothing can be done to support you. ME/CFS is complex, and standard testing may not always explain the full range of symptoms you experience.

A personalised approach can help explore additional areas that may be contributing to your symptom burden. This could include nutritional status, digestive health, blood-sugar regulation, hydration, hormone balance, food intake, sleep patterns and mitochondrial support. These strategies are designed to work alongside appropriate medical care—not against it.

As a Registered Nutritional Therapist, my role is to listen to your experience, investigate potential nutrition-related contributors and help you create a realistic plan that reflects your health history, symptoms and current capacity.

You deserve more than generic advice. You deserve support that sees the whole picture.

Camping food is definitely part of the fun… but let’s be honest, our usual routines and balanced meals can go slightly out of the tent flap when we’re away! 😂

That’s why our wholefood capsules and gummies always come camping with us. Knowing we’ve had the equivalent vitamins and minerals from nine servings of fruits and vegetables before we’ve even stepped outside the tent gives me so much reassurance.

They’re not there to replace real food—we’ll still be enjoying plenty of that—but they’re such a simple way to help keep the whole family nourished when life is busy, meals are less predictable, and convenience inevitably takes over.

No preparation, no fridge space and no trying to persuade anyone to eat broccoli beside the campfire. Just an easy daily habit that travels wherever we do. 🌱

Could your family benefit from an easy nutritional safety net? Comment CAMPING and I’ll send you the details 🌟Tx

More energy could mean waking feeling refreshed, having enough left for the people you love, thinking more clearly or simply making it through the day without constantly pushing yourself.

Complete the sentence without overthinking it:

“I would have more energy if…”

There is no wrong answer. Your response may reveal the area where you feel you need the most support right now. 🌟Tx

Nearly £400 from a side hustle… while helping people support their health at the same time! 🙌

What started as sharing a simple, convenient way to add more wholefood nutrition into busy lives has also created an extra income stream for me — and this month, it’s brought in nearly £400.

For me, financial freedom isn’t necessarily about becoming a millionaire overnight. It’s about having more breathing space, more choices and less stress when unexpected expenses appear.

The best part? I’m not just earning extra money — I’m helping people discover an easy nutrition solution that can support their everyday health too.

Would an extra hundred pounds a month make a difference? Comment “FREEDOM” and I’ll share what I’m doing, how it works and how you could get started too — no pressure, just the information. 🌟Tx

Could CoQ10 be one missing piece in your energy-production puzzle?

Coenzyme Q10 plays a key role within the mitochondria, helping cells convert nutrients into usable energy. It also acts as an antioxidant, supporting protection against oxidative stress. Research has identified lower CoQ10 levels in some people with ME/CFS, and targeted supplementation has shown promising results for fatigue and quality of life in certain studies.

That doesn’t mean everyone with ME/CFS needs the same dose or form. Your medications, nutrient status, symptoms, tolerance and wider health picture all matter. CoQ10 may be especially relevant where mitochondrial support forms part of a broader personalised strategy.

Used alongside adequate nutrition, energy management, sleep support and other appropriate interventions, CoQ10 may offer meaningful support for some individuals.

Sometimes it isn’t a lack of motivation that keeps us feeling stuck. You may not know which changes would genuinely help, have enough time or energy to implement them, or find it difficult to remain consistent when life gets busy.

Recognising what is getting in the way can help you stop blaming yourself and begin looking for an approach that works with your circumstances—not against them.

Which answer feels most familiar right now: A, B, C, D or E? Tell me below. 🌟Tx

When someone has a complex or long-term health condition, it can be easy for every new symptom to be attributed to that diagnosis.
Tiredness? It must be the Parkinson’s.
Low mood? Probably the Parkinson’s.
Poor concentration? Just part of the condition.
But what if something else is adding to the burden?

A diagnosed condition doesn’t make someone immune to nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar imbalances, thyroid problems or other health concerns that deserve investigation in their own right.

This is why I feel so strongly about looking at the whole person, not just the label written in their medical notes. Medication can be essential and entirely appropriate, but it shouldn’t automatically replace curiosity about what else may be affecting someone’s health and quality of life.

Sometimes the most basic checks can reveal something important. We need to stop assuming that every symptom is inevitable and start asking whether there is anything else that can be identified, addressed or better supported. Managing a diagnosis and supporting the rest of the body should go hand in hand.

Have you ever had symptoms dismissed as simply being part of an existing condition? Comment below 🌟Tx
