A smile like this says more than words ever could.

When this gentleman first started with Blooming Good Care, accepting support at home wasn't an easy step.
Like many people, independence meant everything, while the family simply wanted the reassurance that someone was there to help.

There was no rushing, no pressure ..just time spent building trust, getting to know what mattered, and working together with the family.
We recently received some lovely feedback saying what a difference the team has made and that the visits are now something that's genuinely looked forward to.

Looking at this smile, we'd say that says it all.
Home care isn't just about helping with daily tasks. It's about building relationships, giving families peace of mind, and making sure people feel comfortable, valued and happy in their own home.

It's the little things that often make the biggest difference...

At Blooming Good Care LTD, we're about so much more than personal care.
Yes, we support people with washing, dressing and medication, but we also know it's often the everyday things that help someone stay happy, comfortable and independent in their own home.

Whether it's putting the washing away, tackling the ironing, doing a bit of housework, popping to the shops, supporting someone to get out into the community, or simply sitting down for a brew and a chat... it all matters.

That's why, whatever our role within the company, we're never too important to roll our sleeves up.

Amy, our Field Supervisor, spends her time supporting the team, carrying out medication competency checks, spot checks, completing care calls and helping out in the office. But just like the rest of us, if something needs doing, she gets stuck in..

Because that's the culture we've built at Blooming Good Care.
We don't believe care is just about completing tasks. It's about helping people live the life they want to live, in the home they love, with support that's tailored to them and the things that matter most.

After all... we're not just here to provide care, we're here to make life that little bit easier.

Fear can stop people living their lives, and today we proved that with the right support, patience and reassurance, it doesn't have to.

One of our clients hasn't left her home since 2022. The thought of today had made her so anxious that she was ringing members of our team several times a day, needing that little bit of reassurance. Every call mattered, because sometimes knowing someone believes in you is enough to keep you going.

Today, Blooming Good Care LTD together with Reablement Rehability Therapies LTD, we helped her take that first step.

As soon as she got into the taxi, you could see the weight lift off her shoulders. She smiled and said,

"I don't know why I've panicked so much."

It wasn't just a journey in a taxi. It was overcoming years of fear, worry and self-doubt.

These are the moments that don't always get seen. They aren't written on a care plan or measured in minutes, but they can completely change someone's life.

Today wasn't about where she was going. It was about proving to herself that she could go.

And that's something every single one of us is incredibly proud to have been part of. 💙

Sometimes it's the little moments that mean the most. 💙🩵

This morning, our Registered Manager spent some time supporting one of our lovely clients with a trip to the hairdressers. Rather than heading straight home afterwards, she encouraged the client to enjoy a short walk to the local shop. During that walk, the client unexpectedly bumped into a friend she hadn't seen for quite some time.
It was a lovely reminder that sometimes a little encouragement to get out, stay active and enjoy the local community can lead to the most meaningful moments. Had they gone straight home, that chance meeting may never have happened.

At Blooming Good Care LTD, we believe care is about so much more than supporting people with everyday tasks. It's about promoting independence, encouraging people to stay connected to the things and people that matter most, and creating opportunities for those special moments that simply can't be planned.

Our client looked absolutely fabulous after having her hair done. We can't say our Registered Manager looked quite as glamorous... but we're sure you'll all agree who stole the show! 😂

Out and About with Our Clients 💙🩵

Today, Blooming Good Care's owner, Lisa, and Registered Manager, Donna, took some time away from the office to visit a number of clients, taking the opportunity to catch up, listen and spend quality time with the people they support.

One of the loveliest parts of the day was hearing the wonderful feedback clients shared about the care team. Listening to them speak so highly of the kindness, compassion, respect and support they receive was a real credit to every member of the Blooming Good Care LTD team.

It was also a privilege to share some special moments along the way. One client kindly gave Lisa a draft copy of the first chapter of a new book they're writing... a thoughtful gesture that reflects the trust and relationships we've built with the people we support.

At Blooming Good Care, leadership isn't about sitting behind a desk. It's about being visible, approachable and staying connected with clients, their families and the care team.

These visits aren't inspections; they're an opportunity to have a chat over a cup of tea, listen to feedback, understand what matters most to each individual and ensure every client continues to feel heard, valued and supported.

As Registered Manager, Donna remains actively involved in the day-to-day delivery of the service. Alongside carrying out assessments and supporting the team, she regularly attends care calls, believing that the best way to lead is by staying connected with clients, their families and the care team.

Together, Lisa and Donna are committed to building genuine relationships with the people Blooming Good Care supports. Spending time with clients, listening to their experiences and continually learning helps ensure the service remains true to its values.
