✨ Support for carers
✨ Building confidence and finding purpose
It’s all about helping you find the right support for you 🤝

• Ask for a referral from your GP practice team
• Or come and meet the team in person at Health on the High Street

We all want what’s best for our children — but parenting isn’t always easy.

Many parents and caregivers also struggle to make time for their own self-care.

💛 Bladder Cancer Awareness Month 💛
This month, we’re raising awareness of a key symptom you shouldn’t ignore.
If you notice blood in your p*e — even just once — it’s important to contact your GP as soon as possible. It might be nothing serious, but getting it checked early could save your life.
Don’t put it off. Get it checked. ✅

Blood in your p*e is a warning sign.

It might look:
• Pink
• Red
• Brown or rusty
• Like streaks of blood

Even if you notice this just once, don’t ignore it. It could be a symptom of bladder cancer. Get it checked.

☀️ Sun’s Out This Bank Holiday Weekend!
We know it’s a bit of a surprise… sunshine on a bank holiday! 😄 But while you’re out enjoying it, don’t forget to protect yourself and your loved ones.
🧴 Remember: Slip, Slap, Slop, Slide, Seek
👕 Slip on a t-shirt
🧢 Slap on a wide-brimmed hat
🧴 Slop on sunscreen (SPF 30+ and reapply regularly)
🕶️ Slide on sunglasses
🌳 Seek shade, especially between 11am–3pm

💡 Even on cooler or breezy days, UV rays can still damage your skin. Taking a few simple precautions can help prevent sunburn and reduce your risk of skin cancer.
Enjoy the sunshine safely and make the most of the long weekend 🌼
