🐕 BOROVERE DOG SHOW – SATURDAY 8TH AUGUST 2026 – 11:00AM! 🐕

Join us at the Borovere Summer Fête on Saturday 8th August 2026 for our fun-filled dog show, now starting at 11:00am.

We currently have 4 entries and can accommodate a maximum of 12 dogs, so spaces are limited!

🏆 Categories include:
• Best in Show
• Waggiest Tail
• Best Trick
• Most Like Its Owner

💷 Entry fee: £3 per dog

To register, please use the contact details on the poster, or simply reply to this post/message and we'll add your doggy to the list! 🐾

Our World Cup Quiz was a great success this morning, with residents scoring an impressive 38 out of 48!
By mixing football, geography and world cultures, everyone was able to join in and enjoy the challenge.
We rounded off the session with some famous football songs. There were a few cries of "No football songs!" at first, but before long residents were happily singing along to Oh When the Saints, I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles and You'll Never Walk Alone.
A wonderful morning of laughter, learning and music at Borovere.

⚔️🐾 En Garde, Graham! 🐾⚔️

The stage was set, the pool noodles were drawn, and the battle commenced...

In one corner, we have Graham, calm, focused and ready for action. In the other, the legendary Pink Panther (also known as Andy!) armed with a bright shirt and plenty of determination.

With residents watching on and enjoying every moment, the pair went head-to-head in a friendly duel that had everyone laughing and cheering from the sidelines.

⚔️😄 There was plenty of laughter in the lounge this morning as Graham and Andy went head-to-head in an impromptu game of "Noodles at Dawn"!

With pool noodles at the ready, Graham bravely accepted the challenge, while Andy channelled his inner Pink Panther in his bright pink shirt. Residents enjoyed watching the friendly duel unfold, cheering on the competitors and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

It's wonderful to see how a simple activity can bring everyone together, creating smiles, conversation and memorable moments for all involved. 💙

🎤🎶 Noreen and Julia enjoyed an afternoon of live music today! 🎶🎤
Noreen and Julia were all smiles as they listened to Kevin Davey perform some favourite songs this afternoon. With plenty of singing along and a wonderful atmosphere, it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
Music has a special way of bringing back memories and creating moments of joy, and today was no exception. 💙
Thank you to Kevin for another enjoyable performance, and to his background dancers, Amanda and Gill, for adding to the fun! 💃🎶

🎤🎶 Another fantastic afternoon of entertainment at Borovere! 🎶🎤
Residents had a wonderful time enjoying a lively performance from Kevin Davey, helped along by his very own background dancers, Amanda and Gill! 💃💃
There was plenty of laughter, singing, dancing and smiling faces as everyone joined in with the fun. It's always lovely to see music bringing people together and creating such a happy atmosphere around the home.
A huge thank you to Kevin, Amanda and Gill for putting on a great show and making the afternoon so special for our residents. 💙

🎤🎶 What a wonderful afternoon of music at Borovere! 🎶🎤
Residents thoroughly enjoyed an entertaining performance from Kevin Davey, with fantastic support from Amanda and Gill on backing vocals.
There was plenty of singing along, smiling faces and toe-tapping throughout the afternoon as everyone joined in with some familiar favourites.
A big thank you to Kevin, Amanda and Gill for helping to create such a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for our residents. 💙
