We had an amazing day in Liverpool, where we visited some of the city's most iconic landmarks. Our journey began at the Metropolitan Anglican Cathedral, the largest Anglican church in the world. Everyone was astonished by its impressive size, beautiful stained-glass windows, and the remarkable size of the building.

We then continued our visit through Liverpool's Chinese Quarter, admiring its unique and striking archway, before heading to the historic Albert Dock. There, we enjoyed stunning views of the River Mersey in all its splendour, making for a memorable and enjoyable day.

Celebrating National Picnic Day in Style! 🧺

Our Regional Lifestyle Support Manager, Simi, recently brought together the care homes she supports for a wonderful regional picnic to celebrate National Picnic Day.

Residents, staff, and family members from Allingham House, Manorhey, Bowerfield Court, Bowerfield House, Cavendish Court, Hope Green, The Belvedere, and Carmel Lodge all gathered at Tatton Park for a fantastic day of fun, friendship, and fresh air.

Everyone enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by the beautiful parkland before taking a leisurely stroll in the glorious sunshine. It was a wonderful opportunity for residents from different homes to socialise, make new connections, and create special memories together.

A huge thank you to Simi for organising such a successful event and to everyone who attended and helped make the day so enjoyable. Days like these highlight the importance of community, companionship, and making the most of every opportunity to enjoy life outdoors.

We celebrated the Volunteers Week on the 3rd of June. We were grateful for the contibutions of the group of volunteers who took time not just attending the spiritual necessities of the people living with us, but collaborating in a whole range of different activities such from the Church, Gardening, Knit and Natter, Community. Pantomime and Messy Vintage came. We prepared afternoon tea for them. They were delighted and honoured. One lady said "it's a great feeling that we are being acknowledge for our work! She gave us a hug for the simple gestures we did... They had a great time having a good chat with the people living with us. They reminisced on all the things they did together. Some families came and thanked them for their time and effort they put in for the people living with us.

he home together with our home manager, Bumni celebrated the International Nurses' Day. The people living with us who were former nurses joined in. Staff from other departments, families and relatives graced the occasion, too. A token of appreciations were given to our dedicated nurses. After the short messaged from our manager, we had the party! Food, drinks and music were in the house!!! Everyone had fun and enjoyed every bits of it...

To all our nurses, keep up the good work!!! Two thumbs up for all the good deeds you do to the people living with us...

The people living with us enjoyed the visit The Manchester Flower festival, a perfect opportunity to enjoy a complete sensory stimulation experience. The flower displays full of colour and essences brought back many memories to them, reminiscing about their favourite flowers.
Also, we had the opportunity to have a cultural visit to the Manchester Art Gallery, where the people living with us enjoy beautiful pieces of Art.
Finally, we visited some of the Manchester landmarks, bringing back memories to everyone of common places.

There's few things that give us as much joy as a pantomime!

Everyone can get involved and sing their favourite songs. Who doesn't love a classic tale of someone starting off poor and ending up rich? It's always so satisfying to watch them blossom and come out on top in the end.

Here's some snapshots from the big show!
