🪂💜 TAKING TO THE SKIES FOR Parkinson's UK! 💜🪂

We’re incredibly proud to share that our Customer Relations Manager, Shahvez, will be taking on a skydive to raise money for Parkinson’s UK – and there’s a very special reason behind it.

One of our wonderful residents at Halecroft Grange 💜 wanted to take on a skydive herself to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, but unfortunately she is unable to fly.

So Shahvez has decided to do the jump on her behalf. 🪂💜

Now we want to raise as much as we possibly can for a charity that does incredible work supporting people living with Parkinson’s, as well as their families.

🎉✨ OUR BEV IS A FINALIST!! ✨🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to share that our wonderful Head of Housekeeping, Bev, has been named a finalist at the Hotel Housekeeping Honours 2026! 🏆💜

Anyone who knows Bev knows just how much she puts into everything she does. She works incredibly hard, takes huge pride in Halecroft Grange 💜 and is always there to support the people around her — so seeing her recognised on this stage is so well deserved! 👏

The awards take place on 10th September, and we’ll all be rooting for her! 🤞🍀

Come on everyone, show Bev some love in the comments and wish her the VERY best of luck! 💜🎉

Whatever happens on the night, she’s already a winner in our eyes. 🏆💜

🌴🍓 What. A. Day. 🍓🌴

Our Taste of Halecroft event was an absolute hit! From start to finish there was such a brilliant atmosphere, with residents, families, friends and visitors all enjoying great food, sunshine and plenty of smiles. ❤️

A massive shout out has to go to our amazing Head Chef Sarah and Sous Chef David, who absolutely knocked it out of the park! 🔥 Their Caribbean-inspired BBQ was incredible, packed with bold flavours, fresh local produce, homemade desserts and so many delicious treats that had everyone talking. 🌴🍗🍓

A special mention goes to Kate and Sarah, whose hard work behind the scenes brought the whole event together. From the herb planting station and sustainable ideas to all the little finishing touches, you both put your hearts into making today unforgettable. 🌿♻️💚

And finally... thank you to every single member of Team Halecroft Grange 💜 Days like this don't just happen. It takes an amazing team pulling together, and today everyone went above and beyond to create something our residents, families and visitors will remember for a long time.

I'm incredibly proud of every one of you. ❤️

🍓 A berry special day out! 🍓

As part of our A Taste of Home campaign, our residents and team enjoyed a wonderful trip to Kenyon Hall Farm, where they spent the day picking fresh, locally grown strawberries. 🌞🚜

From wandering through the strawberry fields to filling up their baskets, it was a day full of laughter, conversation and plenty of delicious strawberries. 🍓❤️

The strawberries picked during the visit will feature as part of our Taste of Halecroft event on Thursday 6th August, from 12:00pm until 3:30pm. We'd love to welcome you along! 💜

A huge congratulations to our incredible Head of Residential Dementia, Natalie, on being crowned our July GEM Award Winner! 💎💜

This one feels extra special. Our Heads of Department don't usually receive GEM Awards, but this month there was simply no question.

Natalie's kindness, dedication and unwavering commitment stood out for everyone to see.

If you know Natalie, you'll know she never seeks the spotlight. In fact, she's usually the first person to pass any praise straight on to her amazing team. But this time, it was only right that the recognition came back to her.

Thank you, Natalie, for everything you do for our residents, their families and your team. Your compassion, leadership and the difference you make every single day do not go unnoticed. We are so proud to have you as part of the Halecroft Grange family

🌿☕ Garden centre days are always a favourite! 💜

A trip to Golden Days Garden Centre gave our residents the chance to have a good browse, enjoy a drink together in the café and soak up a bit of sunshine. 🌸

There was plenty to see, lots to chat about and, as always, even better company. 💜

🌊🍦 A breath of fresh sea air and plenty of smiles! 💜

Our Residential Dementia community enjoyed a wonderful day out at Crosby Beach, taking in the fresh sea breeze with a gentle stroll along the promenade before settling down for a lovely picnic together. 🧺☀️

Of course, no trip to the seaside would be complete without an ice cream! 🍦😊 Judging by the smiles (and a few ice cream moustaches! 😄), they went down an absolute treat.

It's amazing what a trip to the seaside, an ice cream and good company can do. 🌊🍦💜

Thursday evenings here at Halecroft Grange we have our Gentleman's Club. We started the club a few weeks ago and the men have been very positive.

They have spent time playing pool but are quite happy just chatting.

They reminisced about the times they used to "pop down the pub".

It was their wish to enjoy cheese and port in the garden while enjoying the lovely weather. Thanks to our catering staff we were able to make this happen.

Today was an extra special day for one of our residents and her husband. The celebration of their 75th Wedding Anniversary!
With Lainey Buckle providing the entertainment, the residents joined Mr and Mrs G and family to make their day memorable!
Our Head Chef, Sarah, created a fantastic cake for all to enjoy and the room was decorated with banners and balloons.
Staff joined in and brought the whole afternoon alive with smiles, laughter and dancing.
Mrs G said she was looking forward to the next 75 years! 🤵👰‍♂️

Our resident winner Jean and runner-up Patricia were all smiles collecting their prizes, and a big shout out as well to our staff winner Beth! 👏💜
