🩵 What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your first appointment can sometimes feel a little daunting, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. Don’t worry — we’ll talk you through everything.
📋 Before your appointment
If you book online or through our remote reception service, you’ll be sent an online form to complete before you arrive.
This gives us some background information and helps us understand what has brought you to the clinic.
Don’t worry if you can’t complete the form beforehand. We can always go through it together when you arrive. 😊
👕 What should I wear?
It’s best to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to your appointment. This makes it easier for us to carry out any movement and postural assessments comfortably.
👋 When you arrive
We’ll start by having a chat about what’s been bothering you, your health and any concerns you may have.
🔎 Assessment
We’ll then carry out an appropriate assessment, which may include checking your movement, posture and other relevant areas depending on your symptoms.
💬 We’ll explain our findings
We’ll talk you through what we’ve found, answer your questions and explain the options available to you.
There’s no need to feel nervous — our aim is to make your first visit comfortable, informative and straightforward. 💙
