Dr Aileen Houston will be retiring as a GP Partner in September, after nearly 30 years working at Andover Health Centre.

She will be returning to us as a Salaried GP in October 2026 working 2 days a week. Her work will be covered by a Locum GP through September and we also have a new GP Dr Tracy Wood joining us in September.

We hope there will be minimal disruption for patients during this transition.

If you were born between 1st September 2007 and 31st August 2008 or are off to university and born on or after 21st July 200, you are entitled to a Meningitis B vaccination.

This is not offered via the GP practice but can be booked online or via your local pharmacy.

The DAISY Study (The Digital Family Support study), led by researchers at the University of Birmingham,
is exploring whether a digital parent support program called Stepping Stones Online can help manage challenging behaviors and build confidence for parent carers of children aged 2–11 with a learning disability or developmental delay in England.

The University of Oxford are running a study on arthritis and pregnancy.

The study helps to understand whether women with arthritis should continue or stop taking their biologic medication during pregnancy period.
