If anyone at all is interested in my “transformation” then have a little read and a swipe ⬅️
My thoughts have got in my head just recently 💭 In a world where “skinny” is trending and fat-loss injections are everywhere, I chose to do things differently.
The truth is, I didn’t originally look in the mirror and think I needed to lose weight. It wasn’t something I set out to do because I hated how I looked. But looking back and diving down a rabbit hole, I’ve realised just how much of a ride I’ve been on.
I started this journey for “me time.” Time for myself. Time to focus on my health, my mindset and doing something that was just for me after becoming a mum of two and running a business. I poured so much into everything else that I decided it was time to do something for me.
What I didn’t expect was just how much I would achieve along the way.
This transformation wasn’t a quick fix, there have been days where I’ve been tired and that 5am alarm seemed unachievable but my results come from hard work, consistency, discipline and commitment. There were days I didn’t feel motivated, but I kept showing up and kept going.
I’ve worked hard and proved I can achieve a real lot but there’s another reason as to why I’m so proud of this journey — my boys. ❤️
I want to show them what exercise, fitness and looking after yourself can do for you. I want them to see that being active isn’t about punishment or chasing a certain body shape. It’s about feeling strong, healthy, confident and proud of what your body can achieve.
I’m setting an example for them that taking time for yourself, working hard and committing to something can change so much more than just how you look.
And honestly? I’m so proud of myself for setting that example.
I didn’t do this because I needed to be smaller. I did it because I wanted to invest in ME — and along the way, I’ve hopefully shown my boys the importance of investing in themselves too.
This transformation is mine, and what I’ve achieved through hard work and commitment is something I’ll always be proud of. 💪❤️🥺
Soppy little post from me, but if it motivates anyone, then I’ll be happy I shared!
