⏰ 30 hours per week
💰 £14.10 per hour
📍 Brooklands Care Home, Antrim

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

✔️ Co-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for our residents throughout the year
✔️ Activities should be person centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across abroad spectrum of activities including but not limited to; beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.
✔️ Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.
✔️ Fundraising will be required and therefore previous experience will be an advantage.
✔️ Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one activities are provided to our residents.

The best afternoons are the ones spent doing the things you enjoy. 💙

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon of favourite activities, with some taking part in a friendly game of bowls while others got creative during an arts and crafts session with paints. 🎨🎳

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the activities and each other's company. ☺️

Thanks to the hard work of our residents and staff, our garden is now bursting with beautiful summer colour. From planting flowers to caring for them each day, everyone has played a part in creating a lovely outdoor space for all to enjoy. ☺️

A little time to relax and unwind. 💙✨

Our residents always look forward to their weekly visit from our Complementary Therapists, Noreen and Jackie. From soothing hand and foot massages to beautifully painted nails, their visits are always a lovely opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy a little well-deserved pampering.

Thank you, Noreen and Jackie, for the care and kindness you bring each week. ☺️

A week full of good company and plenty to enjoy. ☀️🌿

From chatting over tea around the table to spending time in the garden and getting creative with some colouring, it's been another lovely week in our home. Whether enjoying each other's company or taking part in activities, there has been something for everyone. ☺️

Wishing Vinee all the very best on her next chapter. 💙

Today we said goodbye to our wonderful nurse, Vinee, after four years at Brooklands Antrim. Throughout her time with us, she has shown kindness, compassion and dedication to our residents and has been a valued member of our team.

While we're sad to see her go, we wish Vinee every success as she begins her new role with the Trust. Thank you for everything you have done over the past four years, you will be greatly missed by residents, families and colleagues alike. ☺️
