Hoping everyone attending the in Belfast this weekend has a great time.
Trad has been at the heart of McIlroy Guitars since we first sent instruments down to Perfect Pitch in Dublin and seen them bought by Donal Lunny, Declan Sinnot, Jimmy MacCarthy and many more. And then over to Moloney Musical Instruments in Galway where a new generation of trad players bought their McIlroys.
I very quickly, off the top of my head, put together a poster of Traditional players that own or have owned a McIlroy over the past 26 years. Apologies if I've missed you out. Go raibh maith agat

During Fleadh week, we are open 9-5 Mon-Thur and 9-1pm Fri as usual. But visitors should email first to arrange a visit and please note that while visitors are welcome, we don't have a showroom and all our instruments have been sold to retailers prior to they're completion.

With close to 1m visitors expected in Belfast for the , we have been asked if we are attending any of the instrument villages.
Unfortunately we don't really have any instruments available, so we wouldn't be able to put on a good show (victims of our own success lol).
We would however be up for "limited" group visits to our workshop, which is 20 mins from Belfast, if anyone was interested?
They would have to be on Wed 5th / Thur 6th Aug at 2pm (one or both days if there's enough interest).
Numbers would be limited to around 6 people.
If interested, send us an email and we'll look at organising a slot.
