Join Cathy Quinn for a taster session with the option afterwards to join a 4 week course.

This will be a welcoming and supportive music therapy group designed to promote wellbeing, connection, and self-expression. No musical experience is needed; these sessions are for everyone and focus on the therapeutic benefits of music rather than performance.
The taster session offers a gentle introduction to using music for relaxation, creativity, and connection with others. Through guided music listening, simple rhythm activities, vocal exploration (always optional), and reflective discussion, participants can experience how music can support emotional wellbeing in a safe and inclusive environment.

Following the taster session, participants can continue with a four-week programme exploring themes of grounding, emotional expression, identity, confidence, and connection. Each session provides opportunities to engage with music in different ways, helping participants develop self-awareness, reduce stress, build confidence, and connect with others in a supportive group setting. The programme is trauma-informed, adaptable to individual needs, and centred on creating a positive and empowering experience for all.

๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’™ "I'm Okay" ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽต

This song touched my heart. As a music therapist, I see every day how music can help create connection, communication and joy for autistic children and young people. I hope you'll take a few minutes to watch and listen. ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽต

This song carries a powerful message of understanding, acceptance and celebration of autistic children and young people. Dedicated to the memory of Daragh McNally, it reminds us that autistic individuals are not broken or in need of fixing, they simply experience and interact with the world in their own unique way.

As a music therapist, I am continually inspired by the ways music can create connection beyond words. For many non-speaking or minimally speaking autistic children and young people, music can provide an alternative pathway for communication, self-expression and emotional connection. Through rhythm, melody and shared musical experiences, children can express feelings, make choices, build relationships and experience a sense of being understood.

Music therapy meets each person where they are, valuing their strengths and individuality. It offers a space where communication is not measured by spoken words alone, but by connection, creativity and authentic expression.

Thank you to everyone involved in creating and sharing this moving song and video. May it encourage greater understanding, compassion and acceptance of neurodiversity in our communities.

Please contact us fir further informaton on how we can help you through music therapy.
