The Kitchen Audit Story
Last month, one of our Group PT members came to me frustrated.
She was training 3 times per week, hitting her step target most days, and genuinely putting in the effort. Yet the scales weren't moving and her energy was all over the place.
When we looked closer, the problem wasn't her workouts.
It was her kitchen.
Every time she opened a cupboard, she was surrounded by foods that pulled her further away from her goals. Biscuits on the counter. Crisps in the press. Chocolate in every drawer. Meanwhile, the foods that would actually help her succeed weren't there.
The following weekend, she did something simple.
She cleared out the foods that constantly tempted her and stocked her kitchen with foods that supported her goals:
✅ Lean proteins
✅ Fruit and vegetables
✅ Greek yoghurt
✅ Eggs
✅ Potatoes and rice
✅ High-protein snacks
✅ Plenty of water
The following week, something changed.
She wasn't relying on willpower anymore.
When hunger struck, the right choice became the easy choice.
Within a few weeks, her energy improved, her consistency improved, and the weight started coming off.
Here's the lesson:
Success doesn't happen when you're motivated. Success happens when your environment supports your goals.
