We had such a lovely time getting creative during our pottery session at Rose House. It was fantastic to see our residents learning new skills 💕🎨

Even better, we were joined by members of our staff team and visiting family members, making it a truly special occasion. There was lots of laughter, encouragement and plenty of creativity around the table!

What better way to celebrate the fabulous St Leger Festival than with our very own Ladies Day at Rose House! 💐✨

Our wonderful ladies (and gentlemen!) enjoyed a day full of racing glamour, laughter and fun, with our very own betting tote hosted by the lovely Louise 🎟️🏇

We were also delighted to have our very own jockey, Sharon, bringing some true racing spirit to the celebrations! 🐎👒

And, of course, no Ladies Day would be complete without the fascinators! 🎩🌸 Every single one was hand-created with love by making the day extra special and personal. ❤️

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a wonderful occasion. We think our Rose House ladies looked absolutely fabulous! 🌹🥂✨

What a wonderful afternoon we’ve had filled with music, memories and plenty of smiles! ❤️

We began with some beautiful traditional hymns, before moving on to lots of our residents’ favourite songs and music from across the generations. 🎵

There’s something truly special about music — it can bring back memories, spark conversations and bring everyone together, no matter what generation we’re from. 🥰

Music is one of our most popular group activities, and it’s easy to see why! We had lots of singing along, smiles and even a few little dance moves along the way. 💃🕺

Our creative activities at Rose House provide wonderful benefits for our residents, including encouraging self-expression, creativity, concentration and fine motor skills, while also providing a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend time together. 🖌️🧶✨

But what makes our arts and crafts sessions even more special is the much-loved involvement of our residents’ families and friends. ❤️

Whether it’s a little help with a craft, a shared conversation over a cup of tea, or simply sitting together and enjoying the moment, your visits make such a difference. 🌷

We’ve had a lovely few days filled with friendship, laughter and plenty of community spirit. ❤️

☕ Monthly Coffee Afternoon – a great opportunity to catch up, enjoy a cuppa, share some stories and spend time together.

🎪 Annual Summer Fete – what a fantastic day! A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported the stalls, enjoyed the games and activities, and helped make the fete such a success. Your support means so much to us.

This time, our residents enjoyed a lovely visit to the library! 📖❤️

Getting out and about in the local community is such an important part of life at Rose House. Visits like these provide opportunities to socialise, explore new environments, maintain independence and stay connected with the wider community.

Most importantly, it’s about choice, inclusion and being part of the community. Whether it’s browsing books, enjoying a quiet moment, having a chat or discovering something new, these everyday experiences can make a real difference to our residents’ wellbeing and quality of life. 🌟

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying their time out at the library — and we’re already looking forward to our next community adventure! 😊📚
