📚✏️ School Supplies Community Collection ✏️📚

This month, we’d love to involve our local community in a little collection to help families who may be struggling with the cost of school supplies for the new school year. ❤️

On Tuesday 25th August, we’ll be opening our doors to anyone in the community who would like to drop off donations of stationery or school supplies.

Whether it’s pens, pencils, notebooks, colouring supplies, pencil cases, rulers or any other school essentials, you’re very welcome to pop in and add something to our donation box. 🎒🖍️📓

We’ll collect everything together, and our management team will then take all donations to the Lighthouse Charity Shop, who will help distribute them to those in need.

There’s absolutely no obligation to donate – we simply wanted to involve our local community and give anyone who would like to contribute the opportunity to do so. Every donation, big or small, will be very much appreciated. 💕

Today, we had the pleasure of coming together to celebrate our incredible carers at our Care Awards. 🏅

The event was all about recognising the dedication, compassion and hard work our carers show every single day. Their commitment to supporting others and making a positive difference in people’s lives is truly inspiring💙

A heartfelt thank you to every member of our care team. Your kindness, professionalism and unwavering support do not go unnoticed. 🩷

💗 Last month, Rhea and Jessica raised £312 for Cancer Research UK! This is a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts, and we’re so proud to have been able to support such an important charity. Every step brings us closer to a future where more lives are saved. Thank you for being part of the journey. 🎀💕

Over the past few weeks we’ve enjoyed breakfast outings, café visits, trips to the local country park, fish and chip lunches, and plenty of time out in the community. It’s always wonderful to see the smiles, laughter, and memories being made. 🥰

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, the Partners in Care team came together for a special Feel Good Friday — a day focused on positivity, connection, and good vibes only. 💛

💛✨ No negativity
🎉😊 No heavy discussions
🌼💬 Just joy, laughter, good food, drinks, and music! 🍰🥤🎶😄

Everyone brought snacks to share, and we were delighted to bring one of our service users along to enjoy the gathering with us. 💛 We also shared the love by taking some sweet treats to our service users at home. 🍬🏡

To finish the day, each team member received a small thank you gift bag to show how grateful we are for the amazing team we have at Partners in Care. 🌟💛

🌄💙 We Did It! 💙🌄

Paddy and Rhea have successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge! 💪

Covering around 26 miles in approximately 12 hours, they conquered Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough in one epic day — tackling tough climbs, long distances, and challenging terrain with determination, teamwork, and plenty of heart.

A huge well done to Paddy and Rhea for going the extra mile and representing Partners in Care (Nottingham) with such positivity✨

🇮🇹✨ Paddy’s Trip to Milan! ✨🇮🇹

Paddy has been travelling again! This April, he flew out to Milan with Rhea and Cerys — and he absolutely loved it. 🐾💫

He spent his days soaking up the beauty of the city, from the stunning architecture of the Duomo di Milano to peaceful strolls through historic streets and piazzas.

He loved visiting museums and galleries, taking in amazing works of art and learning all about Milan’s rich history and creativity. Between sightseeing stops, Paddy enjoyed relaxing in beautiful parks, canals and watching the world go by in this vibrant Italian city. 🌿☀️

Another amazing adventure for our well-travelled mascot… and many more to come! 🌍🐾💙
