We’re certainly making the most of these lovely warm summer days at Ascot Residential Homes!

From trips to the beach, swimming and local outings to our Summer Festival, silent disco, themed days and plenty of time enjoying our beautiful grounds and new patio, it has been a busy summer at St Christopher’s and St David’s.

With this glorious weather, we've been making lots of use of our new patio area.

A huge thank you to all of our residents, families and staff who shared their ideas for the colours, plants and scents they would like to see in the new patio garden at St Christopher’s.

The finished space looks wonderful and is already being enjoyed in so many different ways. From games and sing-alongs to creative activities, relaxing outdoors and spending time together, we are getting so much use from this lovely new area.

We recently used lavender from the garden to make a beautiful lavender wreath, which is now proudly displayed on the door.

The patio is also proving very popular with visitors, providing a welcoming setting to sit, chat and catch up with loved ones.

Thank you again to everyone who helped inspire this beautiful new space. 🌸🌻🌺🌼

Earlier this month, we enjoyed a wonderful Summer Festival at Ascot Residential Homes. ☀️

The weather was perfect and we were treated to seven fantastic performances throughout the day, including live music, Irish dancers, choirs and bands. 🎶🥁🎹🎤💃🏻

It was a brilliant day filled with entertainment, laughter and plenty of opportunities for everyone to come together and enjoy the celebrations. 🎉

Thanks to everyone who joined us and a heartfelt thank you to all of the talented performers and to all those individuals who helped make the day so special. 🥰

We're celebrating again! 🎉

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Ascot Residential Homes have been recognised in the Lottie Awards, a celebration of the UK's best care homes and care providers, for the second year running. This year, we’re especially proud that both of our homes have received national recognition as follows:

🏆 St Christopher's Nursing Home has been recognised as one of the Top 100 Care Homes in the UK and has also received a Top 10 Award for Outdoor Space.

🏆 St David's Nursing Home has also been recognised as one of the Top 100 Care Homes in the UK.

We have themed days throughout the year and recently we celebrated Polish day where we ate Polish food including pierogi (filled dumplings) cake and biscuits and learnt a lot about Poland. Great fun was had by everyone. 🇵🇱

We enjoyed waving at the Royal Procession heading to Royal Ascot last week! 👑🐎👋🏻 The weather was glorious and we found a nice shady spot under the trees in the Great Park! ☀️
