Children don’t always realise they have a problem with their vision — they may simply think that the way they see is normal.
Signs such as struggling to read the board, losing their place when reading, headaches, tired eyes or sitting very close to screens can sometimes be linked to their eyesight. But there may be no obvious signs at all.
