Unfortunately our lovely Doreen has decided to retire. This means she will be able to spend more time with her family, on her long walks and hopefully getting a dog which she has had to put off for a while. We wish her the happiest of retirements, she will be very missed and if anyone would like to sign our card in reception, or leave gifts or cards to pass on, please leave with our receptionists.

Are you a passionate and experienced Diabetes Nurse looking for a rewarding role in primary care?
We are seeking a dedicated Diabetes Nurse to join our friendly and supportive GP surgery in Ash. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of patients by delivering high-quality diabetes care within a welcoming practice team.
The Role
Provide expert diabetes management and education for patients with Type 1, Type 2, and pre-diabetes.
Conduct annual diabetes reviews and support long-term condition management.
Work collaboratively with GPs, practice nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Promote patient self-management and healthy lifestyle choices.
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Registered specialist diabetic nurse (DSN)
Relevant diabetes qualification or willingness to undertake further training.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
A compassionate, proactive, and patient-centred approach.
