The beloved wife of the late Ian, dearly loved mum of Alain and Deborah, mother in law of Angela and Mike and a much loved grandma of Ben, Emma, Jack and Ella.

Funeral Thursday 6th August.
Service at Markeaton Crematorium at 1.30pm in the Main Chapel.

Please wear bright colours to celebrate Jackie’s life. If you prefer to wear a suit, that's perfectly fine—just add a splash of colour if you can.

You are welcome to join the family at the Royal Oak even if you are unable to make the crematorium.

Deryck William Brandon

Deryck Brandon passed away on Tuesday 16th June 2026, at the Royal Derby Hospital, aged 83 years.

Deryck was a kind and caring, husband, dad, brother and grandfather. he had a large and loving family both here in Derbyshire and further afield in Canada. Deryck devoted much of his life to farming and will be fondly remembered by friends throughout the farming community.

He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife, Jean: his loving sons, Mark and Paul, and their wives, Alli and Tracy; his daughter Jo, and her husband Matt. He was also a much-loved grandfather to Dominic, Lucas, Autumn, and her husband, Connor. Deryck will be sadly missed by his sisters, Hazel and Vanessa, together with Rachel, Steve, Nancy, Den and Jean as well as his nieces and nephews and all his family and friends.

Deryck’s funeral service will take place at Amber Valley Crematorium on Friday 17th July 2026 at 1pm followed by a celebration of his life at The Dog at Pentrich.
