It was a strong turnout on Tuesday at Holy Sepulchre Church Ashington as our community came together to raise £150 for Parkinson's UK.

Thank you to The Running Fox for providing the treats, to Dom, Ros and John for helping serve our guests, and to all of you who joined us for your generosity in supporting a great cause.

On Sunday, 26 pairs battled through the damp conditions to take part in a great William Purves Open at Hirst Park Bowling Club.

Well done to winners K & T Hetherington, and runners up Alex and Sarah Girvan.

Sunshine, seaside, sugar!

The perfect ingredients for a Blyth coffee morning. Thank you to everyone who came along last Thursday to help raise £271 on the day - and even more online - for Parkinson's UK. Also thank you to Dom, Jan and Andrew for serving refreshments and helping things run smoothly.
