Back home after attending the bi-annual National Funeral Exhibition.

I always enjoy these events and leave feeling inspired, with fresh ideas and new ways to enhance the services we provide at Perry Jones Funeral Services.

This year was no exception. I’ve invested in something that will help us personalise our funerals even further, and I can't wait to reveal it soon. Watch this space!

We have also learned about a new product which will soon be offering too.

Always an honour to work alongside horses, continuing a tradition that has accompanied people on their final journey for generations.

Despite the rain, the chapel was filled with love, warmth, and heartfelt memories as family and friends gathered to celebrate this lady’s final journey. A truly touching farewell. πŸ’œ

A month ago, I stood as an Independent Candidate in the local elections for Waterloo Ashton, whilst I wasn't elected ky community work has continued as normal.

I have continued to run Perry Jones Funeral Services and support families across our communities, I have also remained actively involved in a range of local projects, charities, and community initiatives.

The infographic below highlights some of the activities and causes I have supported since election day.

Community service has always been important to me, both through my business and through my wider involvement across Waterloo and beyond.

If you'd like to keep up to date with local community news, charity work, and projects I'm involved with, please feel free to follow this page for regular updates.

Last night was our annual charity football match, and third time really was the charm as we finally came away with the win!

BNI Masters v BNI Renaissance.
8-4 finish.

It was an incredible effort from everyone involved, both on and off the pitch. While I’d never claim to be a footballer, I always enjoy dusting off the boots and taking part in such a fantastic event.

The biggest achievement of all was raising an amazing Β£7,500 for Purple Heart Wishes. An incredible amount that will help grant so many wishes and make a real difference to those who need it most.

A huge thank you to everyone who played, supported, donated and helped make the event such a success.

Every year this game brings people together for an incredible cause β€” helping create unforgettable memories and special experiences for those facing incredibly difficult circumstances. It’s always a brilliant day filled with football, community spirit, and fundraising for a charity that truly makes a difference.

Any support, donations, or shares would mean a lot and will help Purple Heart Wishes continue the amazing work they do.

Looking forward to getting back out on the pitch for such an important cause!

115 days until I set off on my Kilimanjaro challenge in aid of Purple Heart Wishes πŸ’œ

This will be both a physical and mental challenge like nothing I’ve ever faced before.
I’ve also bever been away from my boys or my business for this long, and honestly, I don’t know how I’ll cope being pretty much off-grid with little or no contact for ten days.

The thought of not seeing or speaking to my family fills me with dread, but I know it’s all for an incredible cause that means so much.

Every step up that mountain will be for the amazing work Purple Heart Wishes do, and I’m determined to give this everything I’ve got πŸ’œ
