If you’ve visited the clinic recently, you’ll probably have heard me talking about something exciting that has been quietly taking shape behind the scenes !!!

Whilst many of you know me primarily for skin, I think it can sometimes be forgotten that I am just as much a body therapist as I am a facialist.

At the heart of everything I do, I am first and foremost a traditional hands on therapist who blends touch, technique and advanced technology.

This launch is about giving the body the same level of attention, expertise and personalisation that my facial treatments have become known for.

Whether your goal is to support lymphatic drainage, improve the appearance of cellulite, stretch marks or loose skin, ease muscular tension, or simply take time to switch off and support your mental health and wellbeing, these treatments have been designed to meet you where you are.

As always, there will never be a one size fits all approach here at F I N C H I E, every treatment will be tailored around your body, your goals and how you want to look and feel.

Before anyone says it, yes I can see the hair, eyebrows, and theres a few questionable fashion choices in here that probably should’ve been left in the early 2000s 🤣

Since I was 18 years old, I’ve dedicated my life to helping people feel more confident in their own skin. And 20 years later that purpose hasn’t changed. I’ve always believed beauty radiates from the inside out.

Looking after your skin is important, but real confidence starts much deeper than that. It’s about the relationship we have with ourselves, that self belief that you can achieve anything you put your mind to !!!

I’ve never been interested in following the crowd, as a male therapist, I entered an industry where I didn’t always fit the mould. Instead of seeing that as a disadvantage, I chose to challenge it.

I’ve spent my entire career quietly breaking stereotypes, kicking down doors and proving that skill, care and passion matter far more than outdated professional expectations.

There were plenty of moments where people couldn’t see my vision, some probably thought I was absolutely crazy for doing things differently. But long before anyone else believed in what I was building, I had to believe in it myself first.

Believe it or not confidence didn’t always come natural to me, as an introvert I’ve had to fake confidence in order to succeed in life, that’s why I created my alter ego F I N C H I E 🤣

When these photographs were taken, I had no idea where life would lead me, it’s only now I can see how every chapter quietly shaped the facialist and businessman I was becoming.

Almost two decades later, F I N C H I E has become the embodiment of everything I’ve learned, every risk and every mistake I’ve made along the way 🙏

So yes, laugh at the hair, laugh at the fashion and most definitely laugh at the ridiculous poses, I certainly have 🤣

Because without every awkward photograph and every version of me that came before, there would be no F I N C H I E as you know it today.

Although, as I’m fast approaching 40, I still wouldn’t mind having that jawline back from the 2000s 🤣

I’m at a bit of a creative crossroads and I genuinely need your help Finchlings !!!!

Photography has become just as much a passion of mine as skin is. In many ways they’re completely intertwined.

The clinic has become my canvas, it’s where I create my art, whether that’s through skin treatments, fitness, interior design and architecture !!!

Every photograph is carefully styled, composed and edited by me. I’m always trying to capture the very essence of F I N C H I E, not just the clinic itself.

As an amateur photographer, I’ve spent years learning about light, composition, exposure and colour. It’s been far more challenging than I ever imagined 😬

Looking back, I can see that I often over edited my images, chasing a certain look, when in reality I was distorting the clinics natural elegance 😬

Learning when to stop editing has been just as important as learning how to edit for me !!!

Lately I’ve been wondering whether I should switch all of the cabinetry lighting off when photographing the clinic 😱

The photographs you’re looking at here have all been taken with the cabinet lights switched off.

Because I wanted to see whether allowing the architecture, textures and natural shadows to speak for themselves and create a stronger image ?

Part of me loves the warmth the cabinet lighting creates, another part of me feels it distracts from the architecture, calm, relaxing and minimalist aesthetic I’m trying so hard to capture.

I know it probably sounds like such a tiny detail to most people, but these details genuinely matter to me.

Like everything I do at F I N CH I E I have a tendency to obsess over the smallest details, because I truly believe they’re what quietly shape the overall client experience 🙏

People often ask why I take so many supplements, the answer is actually quite simple !!

I don’t take them because I think they’re a magic pill. I take them because I believe in supporting my body in as many ways as I can.

Over the years I’ve dealt with things like severe iron deficiency, hair loss and poor sleep, so some of the supplements I take have a very personal reason behind them.

Will supplements solve everything ? No.

But alongside good nutrition, resistance training, quality skincare and looking after my health, I believe they all play a small part in the bigger picture.

Because health isn’t built from one decision, It’s built from hundreds of small ones, repeated every single day that compound over time !!!

So many new clients tell me how different I am in real life compared with the slightly sassy version of me they see online.

The truth is, I am actually very quiet, In many ways I am a complete introvert, which probably explains why I chose a profession where I spend most of my days tucked away in a treatment room, caring for one person at a time.

One to one is my happy place. I love learning everything there is to know about a person, understanding what makes them feel comfortable and discovering all their treatment likes, dislikes and little preferences along the way.

Put me in a room filled with people though, and I will naturally retreat inwards. I will probably be the quiet one observing everything from the edge of the room.

The sass is definitely real, but it is only one part of me. Underneath it, I am soft, thoughtful, incredibly curious about people and happiest when I can give someone my full attention.

Constantly thinking about what content to create next in order to feed the machine that is social media can become exhausting.

Especially when you are also running a business, treating clients and running the business day to day,

I don’t think many people realise just how much of a content machine F I N C H I E truly is.

Every photograph, every video, every staged scene, every storyboard, every edit and every written caption is entirely my own creation, from start to finish.

Lately I’d been pushing hard, to improve my editing and production skills, and I could feel myself becoming burnt out,

So I took a few days away from creating content, switched off and gave myself some space to breathe.

A few quiet days were exactly what I needed. I’m coming back feeling clearer, calmer and ready to create again.
