10 DAYS TO GO!!
🚂🏃💛

With just over a week left until our VAthletes take on Running the Railways, we're entering the final stretch and making one last push to raise funds for the incredible Centre 56.

We know times are tough, and many people are feeling the pressure of rising costs. That's why we're simply asking for a small donation. Even £2 can make a real difference.

These days, £2 might not even buy a decent coffee, but it can help provide vital support to families across Merseyside who are facing incredibly difficult circumstances.

Your donation could help fund:

💛 Specialist childcare for children aged 2–12
☕ Coffee mornings for parents and carers
🚌 Fun day trips and activities for children
🌈 Essential items including clothes, food, toiletries, and period products through the Rainbow Room
🥰 Ongoing care, understanding, and support for families when they need it most

Wish us luck as we take on the challenge next week! 🚂🏃

If you're in a position to support this fantastic cause, please consider making a donation through our fundraising page:

Every donation, no matter the size, helps Centre 56 continue its amazing work supporting local families.

Thank you for your support. 💛🖤

Happy to see our important inspection works on Clywedog, (once again in partnership with Severn Trent and CPC) being featured in the Daily Post.

These inspections come as an important routine safety check across several dams across the North Wales area. Check out our latest works in the article below👇

Less than one month to go! 🚂🏃

We’ve officially received our Team Ambassador T-Shirts for this year’s Running the Railways event for Centre 56 and it’s safe to say it’s all starting to feel very real now.

We’re proud to feature on the front alongside some fantastic businesses, including our close friends at Clan Contracting.

A huge amount of effort goes into events like this and we can’t wait to run alongside everyone taking part whilst supporting an incredible cause on the day.

The countdown is on ⏱️🚂
Just over a month until the Running the Railways 2026!

We’re now just over a month away from members of the VA team taking part in Running the Railways 2026 in support of Centre 56.

For those who don’t know, Running the Railways is an incredible event organised by Alex Rigby to raise vital funds for families across the Liverpool area who have experienced domestic abuse and crisis situations.

The 24-hour event will see a different business carry the baton each hour along the 5K route between Freshfield and Hightown stations. Every hour, the route reverses and the next team heads back in the opposite direction.

📍 Start: Friday 26th June
📍 Finish: Saturday 27th June

We’re proud to be co-sponsoring this event alongside some fantastic businesses. If you can help by donating, sharing this post, or even coming down on the day to support, it would mean a lot. Every contribution goes towards a truly amazing cause.

A fresh new look for the fleet👌

We’re pleased to showcase our latest van graphics, designed and installed by our trusted local specialists at GR Labels ( https://www.grlabels4signs.co.uk/ )

The brief was clear:
✔ Incorporate our new branding, colours, font and tagline
✔ Ensure full highways compliance with reflective chevrons and safety striping
✔ Effectively position our accreditations for visibility and credibility
✔ Keep the design practical and professional for day-to-day site work

The result strikes the perfect balance between branding and awareness with safety and compliance.

Our vehicles are a huge part of our presence on-site and on the road, so it was important that the graphics not only looked sharp but also clearly represented who we are and what we stand for.

Big thanks to the team at GR Labels for delivering exactly what we envisioned👏

If you see us on the roads, give us a wave👋

✅ If you’ve got an upcoming project requiring specialist working at height support, get in touch with the team to see how we can help.
