Busy week, happy faces and lots of fun! 🌻

Our residents have been keeping wonderfully busy with a little bit of everything! ❤️

From peeling potatoes and decorating biscuits to games and plenty of fun, there’s always something going on.

We’ve also enjoyed some lovely relaxing moments, including a pampering foot treatment from Dynamic Touch 🦶✨, and of course, a visit from our adorable PAT therapy dog brought lots of smiles and cuddles! 🐾💙

It’s lovely to see everyone getting involved, enjoying familiar activities and, most importantly, having fun together. 🥰

We currently have the following opportunities available:

💜 Care Assistants – Twilight Shifts ONLY
🌙 8pm – Midnight
Part-time or full-time positions available – 22, 33 or 44 hours per week
Monday – Sunday

⭐ Team Leader
Part-time or full-time positions available – 33 or 44 hours per week
Monday – Sunday, including every other weekend on a rolling rota.

We have another lovely month of activities planned for our residents! 💚

💆 11th September – Massage with Amy
🏃 12th September – Vision Rise Fitness
🎩🎈 18th September – A morning of magic & balloon modelling with Andrew Miller
🐾 22nd September – Berts Amazing Creatures
💃 24th September – Chair Zumba with Vision Rise
☕🎶 25th September – Macmillan Coffee Morning with a sing-along with Josh 💚

✂️ And don’t forget, our hairdresser is here every Tuesday from 10am!

We’re looking forward to a fun-filled September with plenty of smiles.

What a difference! The results are absolutely fantastic! We’re so grateful for all the time, effort and hard work you put in, and we know our residents will really enjoy the space. 💚

There’s always something to look forward to at The Laurels Care Home!

From visits with Frank & Justine our wonderful PAT Dog, to sing-alongs, fitness sessions, massage therapy, worship, Bert’s Amazing Creatures and hairdressing, we have another fantastic programme of activities designed to keep our residents active, engaged and smiling.

At The Laurels, every day is an opportunity to create meaningful moments, encourage wellbeing and make lasting memories together.

💚 Families and visitors are always welcome.
