So yesterday we had our first of many Weekly themed days ..The first one was a Mexican theme ..what a fantastic day with lots of fun .we had Mexican tasters created by fiona in the kitchen all Mexican inspired, cocktails music 🎶 and we all took part in dressing up for the occasion 😀..well done Gail and Emma fabulous effort ..cant wait to see our next themed day next Saturday..hope you all like the pictures 🇲🇽

So today was wait for it !!! International Avocado 🥑 day ..so we got the residents involved and had a wee taster afternoon and had a good discussion with the residents about all the health benefits of eating Avocado 🥑..The social aspect was fabulous with everyone keen to take part but our only thumbs up after a taste was from Rita and Rena 😄 look out for other fun International days off weird and wonderful things..Tomorrow is our first of many themed days ..Tomorrow its Mexican themed day look out for our pictures....

What a fantastic turn out we had yesterday for our open day at Glencairn we had everything from snakes 🐍 and lizards in pet corner, pottery stall,bouncy castle face painting music by seamus, we had our Tombola and raffle with lots of amazing prizes .we had cake and candy proseco and strawberries 🍓, sweets and juice for the kids 😋..steph and Fiona ensured everyone had plenty to eat with there burger and hot dog stall it truly was a lovley afternoon and the sunshine 🌞 made it extra special. There are too many people to thank so many lovley donations balloons 🎈 and prizes for our Tombola and raffle ,all the local businesses really dug deep this year and helped us out thankyou so much ..And to all our wonderful staff who gave up their time to help us or who stayed on Thankyou..some of our residents ventured out as well and even enjoyed a slice of cake 🎂 or a wee glass of bubbly 🍾..well done everyone and Thankyou ###

A few snaps over the last few days ..we had chris white in today we love to hear him sing some of us enjoyed a wee tipple to help get the feet tapping ..Arts and crafts and fun on the The Trishaw and time outside in the sunshine 🌞 with obligatory ice creams ..we also had a wee cuddle with Demi new puppy Charlie bear he is so sweet and enjoyed cuddles from all of us ...

Hello everyone sorry the page has been a bit quite of late I am just back to work after my annual leave ..normal service now resumes !! So first of all happy birthday to our morag today she really enjoyed a slice of cake with her cuppa this afternoon 😀 The residents have been busy both indoors and enjoying themselves outdoors in the gorgeous sunshine 🌞..here is a selection of pics taken over the last 2 weeks 😀 remember our summer fete is this coming Saturday hope the weather holds..
