We are very proud of the incredible work delivered by our volunteer clinical responders, made possible through the ongoing support of The Sandpiper Trust.

2025 was another busy year, with our responders attending 836 incidents across Scotland, providing immediate expert care in support of Scottish Ambulance Service. From cardiac arrests and major trauma to medical emergencies and everything in between, our volunteers help strengthen the pre-hospital response and improve patient care in communities across the country.

This impact simply wouldn't be possible without the dedication of our volunteer responders and the unwavering support of The Sandpiper Trust, who invested over £81,000 during 2025 to support our responder network and fixed resources.

To every volunteer, every supporter and our colleagues in the Scottish Ambulance Service, thank you for your continued partnership. Together, we're delivering high-quality immediate care and helping save lives across Scotland.

The sun shone for the Sandpiper Trust charity golf day, and what a day it was.
We were delighted to welcome teams from the Scottish Ambulance Service, Police Scotland Tayside, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Ninewells Hospital Emergency Department as well as many local businesses. The support, good spirit and generosity shown throughout the day made it a real success.
A huge thank you to Brian Alexander, a BASICS responder and longstanding supporter of Sandpiper, along with his family and friends, for organising such a brilliant event. We are also incredibly thankful to all the golf clubs, hotels, and local businesses that generously donated prizes and contributed to making the day such a success, as well as to Alyth golf club for hosting the event.
Thanks to everyone involved, a phenomenal £8,208.22 was raised.
This funding will make a real difference to our charity, helping us continue to provide vital pre-hospital emergency care across remote and rural communities in Scotland.
Thank you to everyone who played, donated, organised and supported the day. Your contribution will have a lasting impact.

Alongside this, The Fire Fighters Charity continues to provide lifelong support to serving and retired firefighters and their families across the UK.
