Have you ever heard of compassion fatigue? 🤍🐾

When you work in a caring profession, whether that’s helping people feel better in clinic or spending time with our lovely Osteopooches, you naturally give a lot of yourself.

Compassion fatigue is something that can happen when you spend your days supporting others through pain, stress, injury, recovery, and sometimes difficult moments too. While we absolutely love what we do, caring for people (and getting the Osteopooches in for cuddles and comfort!) can be emotionally and physically tiring at times.

A few small things really do mean the world to us:

🤍 A little patience and kindness goes a long way

🤍 A simple “thank you” can brighten a hard day

🤍 If you’ve had a lovely experience with us (or the Osteopooches 🐶), a kind review always makes us smile

We feel incredibly lucky to do what we do and to be part of your wellbeing journey. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and being such a lovely community — it really does make a difference. 💛

More blood tests do not always mean better healthcare.

In fact, large numbers of unnecessary tests can sometimes:

* create anxiety
* produce confusing or borderline results
* and lead people further away from understanding what’s actually going on

Very often, a smaller number of targeted tests guided by symptoms, history and clinical judgement is far more useful.

That’s one of the reasons we offer:

* GP appointments
* clinician-guided blood testing
* and structured health screening packages

The aim isn’t to do every test possible.

It’s to do the right tests, at the right time, for the right reasons.

Avebury clinic has been very lively for a few weeks. Making it hard to squeeze everyone in. However, Sunday we have had some cancellations (poorly families etc) but that has opened up a couple of special little slots for those who couldn't get in before!

Message early to avoid disappointment!
