💜 World Pre‑eclampsia Day – 22 May 💜

Pre‑eclampsia is a serious pregnancy condition linked to high blood pressure and organ stress, which can put both mum and baby at risk.

It can develop suddenly after 20 weeks of pregnancy – and sometimes even after birth.

🚨 Know the warning signs:

• Persistent headaches
• Vision changes (blurred / spots)
• Swelling of hands, face or feet
• Upper abdominal pain
• Shortness of breath

Many women feel “fine” — which is why regular checks and early recognition are vital.
🌍 Globally, pre‑eclampsia affects up to 5–10% of pregnancies and remains a leading cause of maternal and baby illness and death.

❗️❗️📣📣 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT ❗️❗️📣📣

THE date of the Red Arrows’ display in Lyme Regis this summer has changed, it has been confirmed.

There have been some conflicting messages about the display over the last few days, but we can confirm the Red Arrows ARE still coming to Lyme Regis.

The display was originally scheduled for Saturday 15 August, but has now been moved to Sunday 16 August due to the Arrows’ other engagements.

It has also been confirmed the display will start at 11.30am.
