We had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day in our very own beer garden, bringing together residents and their families to enjoy the sunshine and each other’s company.

It was a relaxed and joyful afternoon, filled with conversation, laughter and shared moments, the perfect way to celebrate the important father figures in our lives. 💛

Opportunities like this to spend time together are so meaningful, creating special memories for residents and their loved ones in a warm and welcoming environment.

🎶🔥 Porthavenbury – Day 3 celebrations 🔥🎶

Day 3 of Porthavenbury, our Care Home Open Week celebrations, brought music, food and togetherness to Avondale.

We were delighted to welcome KelBilly Stomp Duo -Care Home Entertainers, whose interactive and energetic performance had residents fully engaged and enjoying every moment. Live music continues to be a firm favourite, creating connection, movement and plenty of smiles. 🎵💛

We also enjoyed a BBQ lunch, bringing residents, visitors and staff together to share good food and great company. True to typical English weather, the rain encouraged us to move indoors, but the atmosphere stayed just as warm and welcoming. 🌧️➡️🏡

Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow as we look ahead to our Strawberry & Pimm’s party! 🍓🍹

🎪🌈 Care Home Open Week kicks off with Porthavenbury! 🌈🎪

This week we’re celebrating Care Home Open Week in true Porthaven style with our company‑wide event Porthavenbury, a fun play on Glastonbury, filled with music, activities and memorable moments.

Today marked the first of many celebrations, with a lively Sports Day in the garden. Residents got stuck into classic games including bean bag toss, egg and spoon races, and plenty more, with lots of laughter, encouragement and some wonderfully competitive spirits on show! 🥄🎯

It was fantastic to see residents enjoying the fresh air, cheering each other on and embracing the fun of the day. A brilliant start to a week full of connection, activity and celebration.
