World picnic day is upon us on Thursday 18th June and our lovely residents were busy prepping some rocky road for their picnic this morning!

Proudly supporting the LGBTQ community by hosting our very own Pride Bingo! We will be fundraising for Switchboard LGBT+ Support Line with great prizes to be won.

This event is open to our local community and there will be plenty of laughter, fun, a hot beverage and cake available for all those that attend.

Another proud moment for our lovely Amy Scullard who has been recognised in the county for all the work she does for the community!

We're so lucky to work closely with Amy here at Chartwell Manor.

And the Winner of the ‘Improving Health and Wellbeing Award’ is…

Amy Scullard! 🩺

Amy has made an exceptional and sustained contribution to communities across Buckinghamshire, driven by personal experience, deep empathy and a belief that no family should face crisis alone.

She transformed her own experiences into meaningful action, creating compassionate support for families facing life-limiting conditions. This included tailored support packs, immersive experiences and funded respite opportunities that improve wellbeing and provide relief during extremely challenging times.
Amy also restored a vital perinatal mental health peer support group after a local service closed, and has led a community initiative that reduced isolation and strengthened connections, creating a strong sense of belonging and building lasting support networks

Described in nominations as kind, committed and persuasive, her hands-on leadership has provided a lifeline to many families and created a lasting legacy of support, wellbeing and community resilience across the county.

Congratulations to Amy and to Treehouse Preschool and Lindengate Charity, who were also shortlisted.
